UltraTech Cement Crosses 200 MTPA Capacity Milestone.

UltraTech Cement, the flagship company of the Aditya Birla Group, has crossed a significant milestone by surpassing 200 million tonnes per annum (MTPA) of installed cement manufacturing capacity in India.

The achievement comes after UltraTech Cement commissioned three new grinding units on Saturday in Shahjahanpur, Uttar Pradesh; Patratu, Jharkhand; and Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. The newly added facilities contribute a combined capacity of 8.7 MTPA.

With this expansion, UltraTech’s total domestic capacity has risen to 200.1 MTPA. Including its overseas operations in the UAE, Bahrain, and Sri Lanka, the company’s global capacity now stands at 205.5 MTPA.

The milestone reinforces UltraTech Cement’s position as the world’s largest cement producer outside China, underscoring its continued expansion and dominance in the global cement industry.
