UltraTech Cement Commissions 2.6 MTPA Grinding Capacity in Rajpura, Punjab

UltraTech Cement Limited has successfully commissioned a 2.6 million tonnes per annum (mtpa) greenfield grinding capacity in Rajpura, Punjab. This development is a significant component of the 22.6 mtpa capacity expansion plan announced in June 2022.

The newly added capacity will enhance UltraTech's ability to cater to the markets in Punjab effectively. With the successful commissioning of this facility, the company's total grey cement manufacturing capacity in India has now reached 135.59 mtpa. This expansion aligns with UltraTech Cement's strategic efforts to meet the growing demand in the region and strengthen its market presence.
