Tripura Seeks ₹1 Lakh Crore Investment Commitments at Destination Tripura Conclave.

Ahead of the two-day Destination Tripura: Business Conclave 2026, beginning on Wednesday at the Hapania International Fair Ground, Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha said the state expects to receive investment proposals worth nearly ₹1 lakh crore, expressing confidence that the event will open a new chapter in Tripura's economic development by attracting both domestic and international investors.

The conclave, scheduled for July 9 and 10, is expected to bring together around 500 delegates, including investors, entrepreneurs, industry leaders and government officials from India and several foreign countries.

"Around ₹1 lakh crore worth of investment is expected to be generated through the Business Conclave. Investors will not only come from across India but also from several foreign countries. As far as I know, delegates from different nations will be participating, and I will be interacting with them," Saha said.

The Chief Minister said the state government has identified several high-potential sectors for investment and prepared a sector-wise investment roadmap to showcase opportunities in Tripura. He added that many prospective investors have already expressed interest in setting up projects in the state, and the government will hold detailed discussions with delegates during the conclave to facilitate investments and convert proposals into projects.

"We have already prepared a list of sectors in which they can invest in our state, and the investors themselves have shown keen interest in these opportunities. I am confident that the conclave will be successful. Although it is currently the rainy season, I remain optimistic that everything will go smoothly," he said.
