T'Puram International Stadium Model to be Featured at Madrid.
The Trivandrum International Stadium, under construction at Kariavattom, is set to be one of the if not the finest sporting arena in Kerala and its constructors are leaving no stone unturned when it comes to meeting global standards.
The model of the stadium, that is capable of hosting both international and football matches seamlessly, will make an appearance in the Stadium Business Design & Development Summit 2014 slated to be held in Madrid, Spain, on October 29 and 30. The 50,000-seater arena from the city will be in the company of world-class sporting facilities including Real Madrid’s Santiago Bernabeu, Barcelona’s Nou Camp and the WACA, Perth, at the international summit organised by Xperiology.
The summit brings together professionals involved in design, construction, refurbishment and management of major sports venues around the world and combines high-level conferences, workshops, mini-expo and networking events.
'The summit will be an opportunity for us to interact with leaders in the stadium industry and know about the latest practices. We will also learn about various flaws and advantages in different designs,' said Anilkumar Pandala, associate vice-president of IL&FS Transportation Networks, which is developing the stadium.
This will be the second time that IL&FS will be attending the summit after the conference held at London in 2013.
