Torrent Group Inaugurates Green Hydrogen Plant in Uttar Pradesh.

The Torrent Group's new green hydrogen plant in Gorakhpur was officially inaugurated on Sunday by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.

Jointly developed by Torrent Power and Torrent Gas, the facility is set to produce 72 tonnes of green hydrogen annually. The group announced in a statement that the hydrogen produced will be blended with natural gas within Torrent Gas' City Gas Distribution network in Gorakhpur, with a concentration of up to 2%.

This project marks a significant step in promoting cleaner energy sources and highlights the Torrent Group's commitment to advancing green energy solutions in India.
