Titagarh Rail Systems Secures Ship Construction Order from GRSE.

Titagarh Rail Systems Limited has received a Letter of Intent (LOI) from Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers Ltd. (GRSE) to construct two research vessels. The contract, valued at ₹445 crore plus ₹22.25 crore in GST, brings the total order value to ₹467.25 crore.

These vessels are intended for use by the Geological Survey of India and will be built according to the classification regulations of the Indian Register of Shipping.

The ships are designed for coastal exploration and will be used for a variety of scientific activities, including:
