Thermo Fisher to Open Bioprocess Design and Customer Experience Centers in Hyderabad.
Thermo Fisher Scientific, a global leader in scientific services, announced plans to establish two new facilities in Hyderabad's Genome Valley. Both centers are scheduled to open by the end of 2025 and will significantly boost the region's life sciences and biopharma capabilities.
The first facility, the Bioprocess Design Centre (BDC), is being developed in partnership with the Telangana government. This center will provide critical expertise in bioprocessing and process scale-up, aiming to accelerate the development of innovative and life-changing therapies.
The second facility, the Customer Experience Centre (CEC), will showcase the company's advanced scientific instruments and workflow solutions. This center will feature a wide range of technologies, from molecular biology and proteomics to clinical diagnostics and cell and gene therapy. It will also serve as a hub for subject matter experts who will support method development, technology adoption, and industry upskilling.
