Telangana Government Forms Cabinet Panel for Musi River Rejuvenation.
Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has announced that the state government will constitute a Cabinet Sub-Committee to oversee the Musi Rejuvenation Project. The committee will be chaired by Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka and include IT and Industries Minister D. Sridhar Babu and Transport Minister Ponnam Prabhakar.
Addressing the Legislative Council recently, the Chief Minister said the government has prepared a detailed roadmap for the development of the Musi river. He also assured that all affected residents would be provided with rehabilitation.
“We will not render anyone living alongside Musi homeless, nor will we cause harm to even a single individual,” said Reddy, urging political parties to stop spreading misinformation about the project.
The announcement reflects the state’s renewed focus on environmental restoration and sustainable urban development along the Musi river.
