Telangana extends deadline for solar power bid.

The Southern Power Distribution Company of Telangana Limited has extended the last date of tenders for procurement of 500 MW of solar bid submission by one more day.

The Corporation had uploaded the request for submission bid document along with power purchase agreement (PPA) on e-procurement platform for inviting tenders for procurement of 500 MW solar power in the first phase through the competitive bidding route.

The prospective solar developers were requested to upload their bids for setting up plants in nine districts of Telangana. The Company had fixedthe dead line for submission as October 14 and the bid process was to end at 1 pm.

In view of server problems while uploading the bid online, the deadline was extended to 3 pm on October 15.

HBL
