Technopark Signs MoU to Establish World Trade Centre in Trivandrum.

Technopark, Thiruvananthapuram, is set to host Kerala's second World Trade Centre (WTC) following the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) between Technopark CEO Sanjeev Nair and Brigade Enterprises Ltd COO Hrishikesh Nair. The MoU, for the establishment of WTC Thiruvananthapuram on non-SEZ land in Technopark Phase-I, was handed over by Brigade Group Executive Chairman Jaishankar to Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan in the presence of senior state officials.

"The premium office spaces of the World Trade Centre by Brigade will significantly enhance Technopark's IT infrastructure. With more Grade A office spaces, the park will attract additional IT/ITeS companies and investments, making Thiruvananthapuram a preferred IT hub," said Sanjeev Nair, CEO of Technopark.

Jaishankar expressed optimism about the project's potential: "Encouraged by the success of WTC Kochi, we are thrilled to bring Kerala's second WTC to Thiruvananthapuram. The development, covering over a million sq. ft. of premium office space and a business-class hotel, is poised to become a landmark for the city."

Brigade Enterprises Ltd, which is already developing Brigade Square in Technopark Phase-I, envisions WTC Thiruvananthapuram as a world-class facility with Grade A IT office spaces, a five-star hotel, and amenities for business meetings, events, and conferences.

The WTC is expected to boost the city’s global profile, attract investment, and strengthen its position as a leading IT destination in India.
