Tamil Nadu CM to Launch New TIDEL Park in Tiruvallur’s Pattabiram.
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin will inaugurate the new TIDEL Park in Pattabiram, Tiruvallur district, on Friday. Spanning 11.41 acres and built at a cost of ₹330 crore, the state-of-the-art facility covers 5.57 lakh sq. ft. across 21 floors. Designed to accommodate 6,000 IT professionals, the park aims to foster IT development in the northern cities of Tamil Nadu.
During the event, CM Stalin will also distribute site allotment orders to various private IT companies, further solidifying the state’s commitment to bolstering its IT infrastructure.
In addition, the Chief Minister will inaugurate the Precision Engineering and Technology Centre at SIDCO Industrial Estate, Thirumudivakkam, Kancheepuram district. Developed under the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) Department, the centre was established in the first phase of the mega project at a cost of ₹18 crore, supported by a ₹13 crore government grant.
The facility includes an Engineering Design Centre, Re-Engineering Lab, Additive Manufacturing Centre, Advanced Training Centre, Patent Facilitation Centre, and Modern Testing Lab. It aims to provide MSMEs, start-ups, engineering students, and young entrepreneurs access to advanced tools and training to enhance innovation and productivity.
Implemented through a Special Purpose Vehicle formed by the Industrial Estate Association, the initiative benefits over 14 MSMEs in and around Chennai. It is expected to play a key role in advancing precision engineering and supporting local industries in the state.
