Tamara Leisure Unveils Lilac Hotels in Kumbakonam.

Tamara Leisure Experiences Pvt Ltd, a hospitality firm based in Bengaluru, has inaugurated its latest property, Lilac Hotels, in Kumbakonam as part of its strategic expansion into key pilgrimage destinations.

The new hotel, unveiled by Shruti Shibulal, CEO and Director of Tamara Leisure Experiences, is centrally located just 1 km from the Kumbakonam railway station and near prominent temples such as Navagraha Temple, Kalgarudan Temple, and Kasi Vishwanatha Temple. The property features 27 executive rooms, 13 premium rooms, 4 elite rooms, and 1 suite, all designed with spacious layouts to accommodate families.

The hotel also boasts an 80-seater food and beverage outlet serving local delicacies and a banquet hall, Utsava, which can host up to 60 guests for social and spiritual events.

With this launch, Tamara Leisure’s portfolio in Tamil Nadu now includes three properties. The group also operates a 5-star luxury property in Kodaikanal and recently opened ‘O by Tamara,’ a 141-room hotel in Coimbatore in October 2023.
