T-Hub inauguration deferred.

The IT department of Telangana has deferred inauguration of the start-up cluster project T-Hub.

The first phase of the project is slated to be held on September 7. The department has decided to postpone the event after Ratan Tata expressing his Inability to make it for the event.

Tata, who agreed to inaugurate the T-Hub building on the IIIT (Hyderabad) premises, showed interest in the project. The government is in talks with Tata Capital seeking its participation in the VC fund. It's planning to setup as part of the project.

The first phase targets to house 400 startups.

'The inauguration will happen in a week or two,' a top official of the department told Business Line.
