Steel Strips Wheels opens steel processing unit

Steel Strips Wheels Ltd (SSWL) has commenced commercial production at the high-tech steel processing unit for steel pickling, slitting and cut to length at its Dappar unit in Punjab. The unit, named as Ute Mayr Steel Service Centre, will have a monthly processing capacity of 20,000 tonne steel.

Apart from captive consumption, the new unit of Steel Strips Wheels will undertake steel processing work of other steel manufacturers such as Tata Steel and JSW.
