Star Cement North East Declared Preferred Bidder for Limestone Block.

Star Cement North East Limited, a subsidiary of Star Cement, has been named the "preferred bidder" for the mining lease of the Parewar (SN-IV) Limestone Block in Rajasthan. The company won the bid through an e-auction held by the state government.

The limestone block is located in the Joga village of the Jaisalmer district and covers an area of 960 hectares. The site is estimated to contain a limestone resource of 271.38 million tonnes.
