Sri City Inks Pacts With 11 Companies.
Sri City signed MoUs with 11 companies across multiple industries at the ongoing CII Partnership Summit 2016 recently. The total investment expected is Rs. 1,215 crore giving employment to over 4,000 people.
The MoUs were signed with Colgate-Palmolive, which will be investing Rs. 450 crore for its toothbrush manufacturing unit at Sri City, while Thermax will be investing Rs. 200 crore for setting up a manufacturing unit of boilers and vapour absorption machines. Isuzu will be investing Rs. 230 crore for its body pressing shop, which will be an expansion of its existing unit in Sri City.
Vikram Solar signed a pact to invest Rs. 220 crore for PV Module Solar Energy unit, while Bachawat Enterprises will be investing Rs. 25 crore for FMCG. Aero Piston and Nucleus will be investing Rs. 20 crore each for setting up manufacturing units of precision components and DTH dish antenna. The UNP will be making an investment of Rs 20 crore for disposable item production unit, while Valmat will invest Rs 10 crore for Speciality Material Engineering. Moreover, MSR Garments will be investing Rs. 10 crore for Apparel unit and Red Star Plastic to invest Rs. 10 crore for PVC Plastics.
