Snowman Logistics Limited, one of India’s leading providers of integrated temperature-controlled logistics services, has announced plans to establish a new facility in Patna under a Built-to-Suit (BTS) model developed by the Nahar Group. The facility, expected to be operational by January 2027, will have a 6,500-pallet capacity and cater to temperatures ranging from -25°C to +20°C. It will serve multiple sectors, including seafood, ice cream, QSR, fruits and vegetables, and pharmaceuticals.
Chairman Prem Kishan Dass Gupta said Bihar is a key market for Snowman as the company expands in emerging consumption centers across eastern India. “With improving infrastructure, strong agricultural output, and growing demand for temperature-controlled supply chains, the state offers significant opportunities for cold chain development. Our Patna facility will not only serve Bihar but also act as a key node for regional connectivity, supporting efficient movement of temperature-sensitive products across neighbouring markets,” he added.
The Patna facility strengthens Snowman’s commitment to developing India’s cold chain infrastructure. The company currently operates 160,230 pallets across 22 cities, including major hubs such as Mumbai, Chennai, Bengaluru, Delhi, Kolkata, and Pune, and the new facility marks another milestone in its growth trajectory.
