Several uplift projects full swing in Vehari

Vehari: Work is in full swing on several development schemes proposed by eight MPAs of the district, which will entail a total cost of Rs 64 million.

Assistant Director Local Government Anwar Ali Dogar said that as far as development was concerned, Vehari district stood at third position in the province.

He said that 90 percent work on the uplift projects had been completed, adding that CM Punjab Mian Shahbaz Sharif was keenly interested in the progress of this backward region.
