Servotech Power Systems Ltd. Secures Order for 2649 EV Chargers from BPCL
Servotech Power Systems Ltd., a leading manufacturer of EV chargers in India, has clinched a substantial order for 2649 AC EV chargers from Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL). The agreement positions Servotech Power Systems Ltd. as the primary entity responsible for the manufacturing, supply, and installation of these chargers strategically positioned across the nation. These chargers will be deployed at BPCL petrol pumps in major Indian cities as part of the BPCL E-drive Project, playing a crucial role in advancing the adoption of EV charging solutions. The range of EV chargers includes 3 kW and 7 kW models for this project, reflecting the company's commitment to diversifying its offerings.
Manufacturing and production of the AC chargers have already commenced, with the supply scheduled to begin from December 15th and completion within the following three months. This initiative underscores Servotech Power Systems Ltd.'s dedication to contributing to the growing EV infrastructure in India.
This collaboration builds on the successful partnership between Servotech Power Systems and BPCL in transforming the E-Mobility landscape. Previously, the company supplied and installed 800 units of 30 KW DC fast EV chargers at various locations across the country for BPCL's E-drive project.
Servotech Power Systems will manage the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of the AC EV chargers. The project aims to establish widespread e-mobility touchpoints, enhancing transaction efficiency, improving availability, facilitating user discovery, and simplifying navigation for EV users. This initiative ensures convenient access to the EV charging network, contributing to the seamless integration of electric vehicles into daily transportation.
