Sea Lord Containers Commissions Cryogenic LPG Terminal in Mangalore.
Sea Lord Containers Limited (SCL), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Aegis Logistics Limited, has officially commissioned its cryogenic Liquified Petroleum Gas (LPG) terminal in Mangalore. The new facility, operational as of June 12, 2025, significantly boosts the region's capacity for the storage and terminalling of liquified petroleum gases with a substantial static storage capacity of 82,000 metric tons (MT).
This state-of-the-art terminal was developed by SCL on behalf of Aegis Vopak Terminals Limited, an associate company of Aegis Logistics. The company stated that the newly commissioned terminal would be transferred to Aegis Vopak Terminals Limited at a later date, with details to be separately intimated to stock exchanges. The project marks a key infrastructure development for the energy sector, enhancing the logistics and distribution capabilities for LPG in the region.
