Sarovar Hotels Expands Portfolio with New Sarovar Portico in Sriperumbudur.

Sarovar Hotels & Resorts recently announced the opening of Sarovar Portico Sriperumbudur, a new mid-scale business hotel strategically located on the Chennai–Bangalore Highway.

The new property is Sarovar Hotels' third owned and operated hotel, joining Hometel Chandigarh and Hometel Roorkee. The company currently manages more than 140 hotels in 85 destinations across India, Nepal, and Africa, catering to the 3, 4, and 5-star segments under brands like Sarovar Premiere, Sarovar Portico, Hometel, and Golden Tulip.

Speaking to businessline, Ajay K Bakaya, Chairman of Sarovar Hotels & Director of Louvre Hotels India, highlighted the location's evolution. While the company originally acquired the land with a focus on the region's potential as a major IT hub, Sriperumbudur has since transformed into a significant manufacturing center. It is now home to global giants such as Foxconn, Samsung, Hyundai, and Renault, among others, making it an ideal location for a business-focused hotel.

The new Sarovar Portico aims to meet the growing demand for quality accommodation from professionals working in the region's expanding industrial corridor.
