Rs. 1,370-cr road project to link Sonia Gandhi's LS constituency.

The government is set to award a national highway project worth over Rs. 1,370 crore linking Congress chief Sonia Gandhi's constituency of Raebareli, a move believed to have been fast tracked after Gandhi's son and party vice-president Rahul Gandhi faced flak from locals over the poor state of roads in his adjoining constituency of Amethi.
