Rixos Hotels reveals plan to expand in UAE.
Rixos Hotels has recently announced plans to increase its properties from 27 to 60 across 20 destinations by the year 2020.
According to Bugra Berberoglu, the CEO of Rixos Hotels, 'By 2020 we intend inject a lot of investments into the UAE, adding to our presence in this part of the world and seizing the opportunities presented by its steady growth in tourism and other sectors'.
'We enjoyed favorable occupancy rates at Rixos The Palm in 2014 and a great first year for Rixos Bab Al Bahr, which we opened in February 2014. We plan to leverage this success with further developments across the country,' he added.
At present, Rixos Hotels operates two resorts in the UAE; one being the Rixos at the Palm in Dubai, which is a 230-guest room beach resort and the second being the Rixos Bab Al Bahr in Ras Al Khaimah, which offers 650 rooms. The other amenities available at the hotels include a spa, a number of restaurants and dining options, bars, suites and bars.
Rixos Hotels was first established in 2000 and now operates 27 hotels and resorts in different locations which include destinations such as Turkey, Europe, CIS Countries, North Africa and the Middle East.
