"Ramban Viaduct in Jammu and Kashmir Successfully Completed at a Cost of Rs. 328 Crore, Says Gadkari"

In a series of posts on social media platform X, Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari, proudly declared the successful completion of the Ramban Viaduct, a remarkable infrastructure project spanning a length of 1.08 kilometers and featuring four lanes. The viaduct, situated on the Udhampur-Ramban section of National Highway-44, was executed at a cost of Rs. 328 crore.

Gadkari highlighted the exceptional design of the viaduct, comprising 26 spans and utilizing a combination of concrete and steel girders in its construction. This achievement is anticipated to have a transformative impact on traffic management in the Ramban Bazar area, ensuring a smoother flow of vehicles.

The Union Minister emphasized the commitment to enhancing the highway infrastructure in Jammu and Kashmir, with a focus on providing top-tier facilities. He noted that this significant milestone not only contributes to regional economic growth but also enhances the region's appeal as a premier tourist destination.
