Raje discusses tourism projects with Minister.

Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje met Union Culture and Tourism Minister Mahesh Sharma and discussed about various projects including setting up an auditorium at Udaipur, where the memorial of Maharana Pratap is located.

'In connection with the 475-year celebrations of Maharana Pratap, the Chief Minister wanted an auditorium to be established at Udaipur, where the memorial is located,' he said.

'Increasing the air connectivity between Jodhpur, Jaipur and Udaipur focusing on international and domestic tourists was also discussed,' he added.

The Chief Minister also raised various demands including expansion of hospitality infrastructure, financial assistance for several small circuits planned by the Rajasthan government, development of the Indus Valley site Kalibangan to a world class archaeological site.

Meanwhile, a Tourism Ministry statement here said that ministry will very soon sanction funds to State for the project on Sambhar Lake area under the Desert Circuit of the Swadesh Darshan scheme.
