Rajasthan Refinery Project Set for Completion Next Month.

The HPCL Rajasthan Refinery Limited (HRRL) project — a joint venture between Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) and the Government of Rajasthan — is expected to be completed next month, a senior official said.

Located in Pachpadra, near Balotra and Barmer in Rajasthan, the public-sector refinery and petrochemical complex will produce petrol, diesel, and a range of petrochemical products, contributing to the state’s industrial and economic growth.

The project’s foundation stone was laid by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in 2018, marking a key milestone in India’s efforts to boost domestic refining capacity and reduce dependence on imports.
