RailTel Corporation Awarded ₹243.11 Crore Contract.

RailTel Corporation of India Ltd. has landed a significant contract worth over ₹243.11 crore from the Bihar Education Project Council (BEPC). The order tasks RailTel with supplying student kits to government schools across Bihar, benefiting students from Class 1 to Class 12.

This substantial agreement, valued at ₹2,43,11,35,577 (including tax), underscores RailTel's expanding role beyond its traditional railway communications infrastructure. The company will be responsible for the comprehensive supply of educational kits, which are expected to play a crucial role in supporting the learning journey of countless students in the state.

The contract with the State Project Director (SPD) Bihar Education Project Council highlights the government's push to enhance educational resources at the grassroots level and RailTel's growing capabilities in large-scale logistical and supply projects.
