RailTel Awards Order to Praruh Technologies Ltd.

Praruh Technologies Ltd has received a significant order from RailTel Corporation of India Ltd worth Rs. 38,98,16,753.90 for implementing an optical fiber-based Metro-DWDM system using next-generation SDN-based optical networking technologies.

The project is designed to meet India’s growing bandwidth demand while ensuring compatibility and enhanced flexibility in transporting and routing all traffic types through Dense Wave Division Multiplexing (DWDM).

Under the contract, Praruh Technologies Ltd will implement the project across 286 locations nationwide, involving approximately 400 devices supplied by Nokia Networks. The scope covers full design, implementation, and maintenance of the network over an eight-year contract period.

The deal highlights RailTel’s push to strengthen India’s optical fiber infrastructure and underscores Praruh Technologies Ltd’s growing role in large-scale telecom network deployments.
