"Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd Secures Rs. 495.14 Crore Order from NTPC"

Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) has clinched a significant contract from the National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) to serve as the "Project Execution Agency" for the execution of Balance Civil & HM works of the Barrage Complex, including a part of the Head Race Tunnel (HRT) package for the Rammam Hydro Electric Project Stage-III (3x40 MW).

The value of this contract stands at a substantial Rs. 495,14,16,130.68 (Rupees Four Hundred Ninety Five Crore Fourteen Lakhs Sixteen Thousand One Hundred and Thirty and Paisa Sixty Eight), excluding GST. This excludes the Goods and Services Tax (GST) at a rate of 18%.

This project represents a significant milestone for RVNL, highlighting its continued involvement in critical infrastructure development projects across the country.
