Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) has emerged as the lowest bidder (L1) for a project from East Coast Railway to set up a wagon periodic overhauling (POH) workshop with a capacity of 200 wagons at Kantabanji.

The project, awarded to RVNL as the sole bidder, carries a cost of ₹201.23 crore excluding GST.

The new workshop is expected to enhance the maintenance and operational efficiency of wagons in the region, supporting East Coast Railway’s ongoing infrastructure development initiatives.
