"PVR INOX Limited Unveils 9-Screen Multiplex at Forum Mall in Kochi, Kerala"

PVR INOX, India's premier cinema exhibitor, has unveiled its latest venture in Kochi, Kerala, with the inauguration of a state-of-the-art 9-screen multiplex at Forum Mall. This new addition sets a new standard for entertainment in the city, boasting the first-ever P[XL] screen format in Kerala and the largest screen in Kochi City. Adding to the luxurious cinematic experience, the multiplex also features 2 LUXE auditoriums.

With this launch, PVR INOX expands its footprint in Kochi to 22 screens across 3 properties and solidifies its position in Kerala with a total of 42 screens across 6 properties, contributing to its extensive network of 558 screens across 99 properties in South India.

Strategically situated at Kundanoor, Maradu, the multiplex can accommodate 1489 guests and introduces PVR's premium large-screen cinema format, P[XL], equipped with cutting-edge 4K laser projection systems and Dolby Atmos sound technology. Additionally, the cinema boasts laser projection, Dolby Atmos, and Real D 3D technology. The LUXE format caters to patrons seeking an exclusive experience, offering a live kitchen serving a variety of freshly prepared food and beverages, along with amenities such as service on seat and last-row recliners for maximum comfort.

Ajay Bijli, Managing Director of PVR INOX Limited, expressed excitement about introducing the first P[XL] screen in Kerala, emphasizing the company's commitment to delivering unparalleled cinematic experiences nationwide. He highlighted the launch of the third multiplex in Kochi and the sixth in Kerala as a response to the evolving demands of audiences for innovative cinematic standards.

The multiplex's design exudes contemporary luxury, featuring curated artworks of renowned actors and actresses with a "V" theme adorning the foyer. The seating area incorporates elements of gold metal and teal leather, complemented by a Luxe Lounge to enhance the opulence of the space. Additionally, the multiplex offers an extensive range of cafe-style food options, including Kochi's first authentic Italian Neapolitan pizza, elevating the culinary experience for moviegoers.

Sanjeev Kumar Bijli, Executive Director of PVR INOX Ltd., underscored the potential for growth in South India, citing the region's high movie consumption and relatively lower multiplex penetration compared to other parts of the country.
