Punj Lloyd bags submarine pipeline project from ONGC Punj Lloyd has announced receiving an offshore project in Bombay High, Mumbai from ONGC. The project worth Rs 4.69 billion (USD 97.3 million) is scheduled for commissioning in May 2013.

The scope of work for the project entails surveys, designing, engineering, procurement, fabrication, anti-corrosion and weight coating, load out, tie down/sea fastening, tow-out/sail-out, transportation, installation of 122 km of submarine pipeline, risers and I/J tubes, modifications on existing facilities, hook-up and testing.

Scheduled to begin in May 2013, the EPC contract calls for the installation of a 122 kilometre subsea pipeline as ONGC seeks to develop its WO-16 cluster field. The field sits in water depths of between 75 and 80 metres off Mumbai
