Pune International Airport to begin construction by 2015

The central and state governments have given their 'in principle' nod for the site of the proposed new international airport for Pune in the Chakan-Rajgurunagar belt.

They have asked district officials to conduct a techno-feasibility study by February end and have set 2015 as deadline to begin construction work.
