PSPCL signs two agreements for small hydel projects

Punjab State Power Corporation has signed two power purchase agreements with small hydro power companies.

The first agreement was signed with Lehrun Hydro Power which is setting up Rs 25 crore project at Chakki Khad in Pathankot. It is expected to be commissioned in June 2012 and generate 3 MW of power.

Second agreement was signed with Chandigarh absed Atlantic Power. This project is being set up in Bathinda with a capacity of 0.6 MW. The total cost of the project would be Rs 7 crore and the scheduled date of commissioning of this project is November 25, 2012.
