Premier Energies Secures ₹1,700-Crore Order from NTPC

Premier Energies, a prominent player in the integrated solar cell and module manufacturing sector, has secured a substantial order from NTPC for the supply of 608-megawatt (MW) DCR (indigenous solar cell and module) bifacial solar PV modules. The order, valued at approximately ₹1,700 crore, is designated for NTPC's Nokh solar PV project situated in Rajasthan. The delivery of the bifacial solar PV modules is slated for completion within the next nine months.

NTPC, India's largest power utility, currently boasts an installed capacity of 73,824 MW, with ambitious plans to evolve into a 130-GW company by the year 2032.

Premier Energies manufactures its bifacial solar PV modules at a state-of-the-art 40-acre facility in Hyderabad, designed to maximize energy generation. The collaboration with NTPC marks a significant milestone for Premier Energies, reflecting the company's commitment to delivering products of superior quality, consistent performance, and reliability in the realm of solar PV modules, as emphasized by Chiranjeev Saluja, Managing Director of Premier Energies.
