Powergrid Energy Services Commissions 85 MW Nagda Solar Plant.

Powergrid Energy Services Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd (POWERGRID), has announced the successful commercial operation of its 85 MW Solar Photovoltaic (PV) Power Plant located at Nagda, in the Ujjain district of Madhya Pradesh. The plant commenced commercial operations effective April 24, 2025.

This significant addition to the renewable energy capacity in the region underscores POWERGRID's commitment to expanding its footprint in the solar power sector through its subsidiary. The 85 MW solar PV power plant at Nagda is expected to contribute substantially to the clean energy generation in Madhya Pradesh and aligns with the national objectives of promoting sustainable power sources.
