Power & Instrumentation Secures ₹68 Crore Order in Rajasthan.

Power & Instrumentation (Gujarat) Ltd (PIGL), a prominent player in electrical contracting and infrastructure development, has secured a ₹68 crore order from Ajmer Vidyut Vitran Nigam Ltd (AVVNL) to enhance power distribution infrastructure in Rajasthan.

The contract, awarded under the Government of India’s Revamped Distribution Sector Scheme (RDSS), involves setting up power distribution infrastructure, including segregation of 11 KV mixed feeders in the Dungarpur Circle of Ajmer Discom. The project will be executed on a turnkey basis and is expected to be completed within 15 months.

This new order follows a ₹71 crore contract awarded to PIGL by AVVNL in August for similar distribution infrastructure development under the RDSS, underscoring the company’s growing presence in Rajasthan’s power sector.

The projects aim to improve the efficiency and reliability of power distribution in the region, supporting the government’s goal of strengthening the power sector through targeted infrastructure investments.
