PM Modi to Inaugurate 24th Refinery in Rajasthan on July 4.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will dedicate India’s first greenfield integrated refinery-cum-petrochemical complex to the nation on Saturday at Pachpadra in Balotra, Rajasthan, marking a significant milestone in the country’s energy and petrochemical sector.
The 9 million tonnes per annum (MTPA) facility has been developed as a joint venture between Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd (HPCL) and the Government of Rajasthan, with a total investment of over ₹79,450 crore.
In the joint venture, HPCL holds a 74 per cent stake in HPCL Rajasthan Refinery Ltd (HRRL), while the Rajasthan government owns the remaining 26 per cent.
Officials said the project is expected to strengthen India’s refining capacity and support the production of key petrochemical products.
