Phase II of Hyderabad Metro awaits Centre clearance, says CM Revanth Reddy.
A. Revanth Reddy has urged the Centre to expedite approval for the second phase of the Hyderabad Metro Rail, during his visit to New Delhi recently.
The Telangana Chief Minister met Union Minister for Housing and Urban Affairs Manohar Lal Khattar and sought swift clearance for Phase II of the metro expansion project.
Reddy also requested central support for the proposed Phase III of the metro network, which is planned to connect the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Shamshabad with the upcoming Future City development area.
The proposed expansions are expected to significantly enhance urban connectivity in Hyderabad and support the city’s long-term infrastructure growth plans.
