NTPC's Nokh Solar Project Adds 193 MW Capacity.

NTPC Limited, India's largest integrated power producer, has announced the successful commercial operation of 193 MW out of the 245 MW capacity at Plot-3 of its Nokh Solar PV Project in Rajasthan. The new capacity officially came online at 00:00 Hrs on June 9, 2025.

This significant commissioning marks a key milestone for the Nokh Solar PV Project, which has an overall capacity of 3x245 MW. The addition of this 193 MW brings NTPC's standalone installed and commercial capacity to 59,606 MW.

Furthermore, this achievement elevates the total installed and commercial capacity of the NTPC Group to an impressive 80,708 MW. This expansion underscores NTPC's ongoing commitment to increasing its renewable energy footprint and contributing to India's clean energy goals. The Nokh Solar project is a crucial part of NTPC's strategy to diversify its energy mix and reduce its carbon emissions.
