NTPC Green Energy Signs MoU with CtrlS Datacenter for Renewable Energy Projects.

NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL), a subsidiary of NTPC Limited, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with CtrlS Datacenter Limited (CtrlS) to explore renewable energy initiatives across India. The agreement was signed on 31st October 2025 by Sarit Maheshwari, CEO of NGEL & NTPC REL, and Sridhar Pinnapureddy, Founder & Chairman of CtrlS.

Under the MoU, both companies will collaborate on the development of renewable energy projects with a capacity of 2 GW or more, aimed at supplying round-the-clock (RTC) renewable energy to CtrlS datacenters for their captive consumption across India.

The partnership marks a strategic step in advancing India’s renewable energy adoption while supporting the energy needs of large-scale data infrastructure.
