Noida Airport Anticipates Handling 4 Million Passengers Next Year.

Noida International Airport (NIA) is expected to handle up to 4 million passengers in calendar year 2026, its developer, Zurich Airport, said during an investor presentation this week.

The airport received an aerodrome licence from the Directorate General of Civil Aviation on March 6. While the inauguration date has not been finalised, NIA is expected to begin operations within 30–45 days of receiving the licence, Zurich Airport said.

Initially, the airport will handle domestic and cargo flights during daytime hours, with operations expected to scale up over the next three to four months.
