NGRBA to take up Ganga pollution control project

Lucknow: The National Ganga River Basin Authority (NGRBA) has sanctioned a Rs 315.34 crore scheme for undertaking a pollution control project in river Ganga at Allahabad district in Uttar Pradesh.

Of the total amount, the Centre will release Rs 10 crore in the current fiscal as first installment. Under the project th union government will provide 70 percent cost and rest will be given by the state government.
