New vegetable, flower markets for Mapusa.

A Mapusa municipal council (MMC) meeting chaired by chairperson Sandip Falari has decided to construct a vegetable market and a flower market through the Goa state urban development agency (GSUDA) and to make parking facilities available in the congested town of Mapusa.

Sources informed that the vegetable market project which was pending for years will be taken up for construction after making some modifications to the old plan through GSUDA. There will be arrangements for about 250 vegetable vendors in the new project sources informed.
