Mulugu Gets ₹4.8 Crore Boost for Modern Bus Terminal.

The decades-old aspiration of the people of Mulugu is on the verge of becoming a reality as the state government has commenced the construction of a hi-tech bus station at the Mulugu district headquarters. This significant development was announced by Transport Minister Ponnam Prabhakar on Sunday during the foundation stone laying ceremony.

The foundation stone for the modern bus terminal, estimated to cost ₹4.8 crore, was jointly laid by Minister Prabhakar and Panchayat Raj Minister Seethakka. The ceremony marked a momentous occasion for the local community, who have long awaited improved transport infrastructure.

Speaking to the media after the event, Minister Prabhakar emphasized the commitment of the Congress party, since assuming power, to fulfilling the long-standing desire of the people for a modern bus stand. He stated that the government is actively focused on developing transport infrastructure across the state, with a particular emphasis on creating essential amenities and ensuring robust connectivity in the agency areas of the Mulugu district. This project signifies a crucial step towards enhancing the transportation network and improving the lives of the residents in the region.
