Minister to review road acquisition work.

Minister for Panchayats and Social Justice M.K. Muneer will chair one more district-level meeting to review the land acquisition procedures so far completed for the widening of the 8.4-kilometre stretch of the Mananchira-Vellimadukunnu road at the Collectorate conference hall, recently.

It will be in the presence of people's representatives and Revenue officials.

District Collector C.A. Latha, too, will attend the meeting, which was decided upon after finalising the prices of land to be acquired under the project.

Following the decision, Minister for Public Works has assured to release an initial fund of Rs. 25 crore.
