Beni Prasad Verma, Union Minister for Steel, laid the foundation stone for the 500 MW capacity power plant at Mankapur in Gonda district of Uttar Pradesh

To mark the occasion, he distributed solar lamps to school children and certificates to the trainees of skill development programme run by MSME.
