Minister Announces Major Infrastructure Push for Gurgaon in the Next Six Months.

Haryana's Minister of Industries, Commerce, and Environment, Rao Narbir Singh, unveiled plans for significant infrastructure transformations in Gurgaon over the next six months during an event in Badshapur on Sunday. Singh assured residents that upcoming government schemes and projects would align with public expectations, focusing on both the quality and speed of execution.

“The next six months will witness transformative changes, setting a new benchmark for urban development in the state,” Singh declared, emphasizing the use of innovative technologies to expedite the progress of these projects.

The minister also reflected on Haryana's development journey under the vision of Antyodaya, which aims to uplift the most marginalized sections of society. He credited the government's transparent policies and development-focused initiatives for fostering public trust and inspiring other states. “Our policies have ensured fair opportunities for all, even for those at the last rung of society. This trust has solidified our mandate in recent elections,” Singh said.

Addressing the issue of unemployment, Singh reiterated the state’s commitment to skill development and youth empowerment. He stressed that the government is focusing on providing resources for self-employment and ensuring that no youth is left jobless. “We are committed to equipping young individuals with the skills and opportunities necessary for self-reliance,” he added.

Singh also praised Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini for his leadership, calling him the most approachable leader he has worked with, among seven different chief ministers. He commended Saini’s impactful welfare schemes and his citizen-centric approach to governance.

The minister urged senior officials to expand the reach of government schemes, ensuring that no eligible citizen is overlooked, and reiterated that funding would not be an issue for any welfare or development project.

Singh received a warm welcome from locals as he arrived at the event in an open jeep, with residents lining the streets from Vatika Chowk to the venue. The event highlighted the government’s focus on urban development, welfare initiatives, and youth empowerment.
