Maharashtra Grants 100-Acre Land Parcel in Navi Mumbai for RRP Electronics' Semiconductor Fab.

In a major win for India’s technology sector, RRP Electronics, a company backed by cricket icon Sachin Tendulkar, has secured a 100-acre land parcel in Navi Mumbai. The land will be used to relocate a semiconductor fabrication unit from one of the world's leading semiconductor companies in Sherman, Texas.

Maharashtra’s Chief Minister, Devendra Fadnavis, hailed the land allotment as a pivotal moment for the state and the nation. "This firmly positions Maharashtra at the heart of India’s Semiconductor Mission roadmap," Fadnavis stated.

The Chief Minister also confirmed that the state government is fully committed to supporting the project. This includes providing all necessary infrastructure, policy facilitation, and skill development to ensure the initiative's success. The move is expected to boost local employment and establish Maharashtra as a key player in the global semiconductor supply chain.
