Maharashtra Government Signs ₹1,513-cr MoU with Reliance for Food & Beverage Facility

The Maharashtra government has entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Reliance

Consumer Products, the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) arm of Reliance Industries, to establish a new manufacturing facility in Nagpur.

The ₹1,513-crore investment will fund an integrated facility for producing a range of food and beverage products at Katol, located in the Nagpur district. This project is expected to create 500 new jobs and significantly boost the state’s food processing and consumer goods sectors.

According to a post from the Chief Minister's Office on X, the new facility will play a key role in enhancing Maharashtra's industrial landscape and driving economic growth.
